Academy Elite, B18

Throughout the tournament, this team has shown outstanding respect and sportsmanship both on and off the pitch. They have demonstrated fair play by returning the ball to their opponents during throw-ins and corners, helping an injured player from the opposing team, and showing appreciation to their opponents after every match. Even in defeat, they continued to play with a positive attitude, respect the referees, and contribute to a great football experience for everyone involved.

They are a true example of how football should be played.

 

Lerum IS, G18

Throughout the tournament, Lerum IS has demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, combining determination and competitive spirit with honesty and respect. They have played with intensity while always respecting their opponents, the referees, and the rules of the game.

Even in situations where they could have gained an advantage through unsporting behaviour, they chose to compete with integrity and fairness instead. Their consistent attitude on and off the pitch has earned the admiration of officials and volunteers alike, making them a true example of what Fair Play represents.

 

IFK Göteborg, B17E

During their match against Beyond Limits B17E, IFK Göteborg showed that true Fair Play goes beyond the result on the scoreboard. Despite being 2–0 down in the second half, they chose to put respect and care for their opponents first.

When several players from the opposing team were affected by the heat and ran out of water, IFK Göteborg showed great kindness by sharing their own water bottles to help their opponents. Their actions demonstrated compassion, respect, and a genuine understanding of what football is truly about.

IFK Göteborg set an inspiring example for everyone at Gothia Cup by showing that taking care of each other is always more important than the result of the game.
